I had two big silvers but one jumped. Now I have one silver around 26" and one small jar in a different tank. I am thinking about trying to find some big silvers to adopt but I won't do that unless I can find two at once. and I'm also going to start looking for one to two more jars. If they will cohab.

i always heard the jars are very difficult to co-hab.. good luck finding those silvers, i know theres some out there looking for a good home... so i will keep my eyes open...

yes you need to get the right ones too.,.. you don't want problems.. good luck...let me know if you find the righ candidates... :D

My 2 silvers get along fine but the new one has made the old one more skittish. I have to cover the whole tank when lights are out so they don't scare. Hard to get dressed for work with fish slamming all around. But the new one started eating 2 days ago. Now I know why all his fins were shredded from jumping.

even though it seems like and probably is the new arow jumping.. any arows jump at any time... so it is good to always have them covered and top weighted down .. i am glad he is eating.. hope things calm down.,.. and no one is going to make things harder to settle in then it has to be...good luck.. and keep us posted..

They get even more jumpy when the lights are turn off.
