mfk + python doesnt mix

i did a similar thing, i was siphooning from my 125 into a 5 gal bucket and the hose in the bucket came out so it went all over the floor and i was also on the computer and i came back when the bucket would of been full to a soaking wet rug all around my tanks
i also over flowed the buckets a couple of times
funny thin g about this is i have a bucket clamp to attach the hose to the rim of the bucket but i was to lazy to find it (in a cabinit with other fish stuff) so lesson learned

Yep. I used it to get the last bit of water out of my 120G when I was water testing it. Damn near dried the bottom glass.
When my wonderful niece inadvertently left on the kitchen faucet after some plumbing was done in her apartment and the end result was flooding everywhere, my wet/dry completely cleaned up three apartment carpets below hers.
