mfk tank ingredients

Not sure if I'd include plecos. I'd say knives, gars, aros, cats, dats, cichla, rays, polys eels, maybe clown loaches though I don't really think of them as monster.
 
haps, rays, puffers, malawi peacocks, characins.... i own none of these b/c i dont have space... yet

i dont know ... i know a lot of people who have rays, dats, and Pbass .. which is what my tank has .. i love the look ... love the fish .. one of my fave set ups
 
Think the ingredient is "hobbyists"... MFK.. isn't just about having monster fish.. it's about having a monster fish heart or some sappy thing like that. If none of us cared about our fish we wouldn't be here talking about them. Though I do adore my 2 lil' Poly's... I keep alot of community fish as well that are not less "monster" to me. Actually it's funny watching My O eye up the platies on occasion when i feed 'em 'n they're danceing around the tank. I think he's trying to decide if he can jump from his tank into theirs w/out me noticing sometimes.. Gotten some of my Best advise from here 'n some of the best information of species I've been interested.

Just like grandma's cookies.. a lil' bit 'o love.
 
Some fish are over rated though. Personally Pbass just don't do it for me. Never will a tank of mine have one, nope not for me. I could go to a lake and catch one and eat it, just seems like the plain old fish sticks to me. lol

I do have gars and bichirs. :)

I do believe you could go anywhere and catch any fish one here and eat it.....Pbass = C.R.E.A.M!!!
 
i dont have a large enough tank for most of those so i went with piranhas instead


BUT if i had a 300+ gal i would HAVE TO GET AN AROWANA I MEAN I HAVE TO

they look so amazingand when and if that day comes i will consider pbass and all the rest
