My pleco is just really spunky I guess. They battle all the time.
The dovii bites him all the time (it doesn't do any damage) and it takes a while but when he gets sick of it he just starts ramming the dovii.
Sometimes the pleco will hide in the driftwood and at random he'll attack. He just doesn't put up with any crap. They've been together for about 8 months. When they aren't fighting they just hang out together.
They have a true love hate relationship. It may not last but for now it will work.

Ever since I got rid of my plecos iv had to use my algae scraper a lot more. Which can be hard sometimes when all he wants to do is attack it lol

thanks, its a quad t5 unit with 2 10000k whites, 2 actinic blues, all for bulbs are 80w 6ft tubes... its a marine unit. also those pics are catching him just right using a nikon dslr camera with the big flash of only using the small pre flash.
