The funny thing is, with Bynum and Gasol starting side by side, they shouldn't have a problem with rebounding. Fisher is getting out of his zone. He should be a backup. One problem I saw was Radmanovic. He hit 3 3's in the first quarter, and I don't remember anything from him after that. He has to be more productive. Their bench is so-so also. Aside from Ariza, who I see good things from in the future, they don't have anyone that can hold things down, especially while Kobe is on the bench.
 
Tonight is a great night for the NBA on TNT. Det at Mem, then Pho at Bos, and finally Cle at LA! I thought Det would blow out Mem, but it is a close 4 point game with 3 minutes left. I take Pho and a great game by Shaq over Bos. I take LA over Cle, just cuz I love LA.:D
 
Detroit pulled it out in the last 2 minutes. Memphis could have easily won, they just didn't execute in the 4th quarter, with even less execution in the last 4 minutes...

You must be forgetting that Memphis doesn't have "execution", among other things, in the playbook.....:grinno:
 
Great game. When Kobe defended Lebron, especially in the 1st and 3rd quarters, he was completely shut down. Kobe was kobe. 12 great assists and a very willing passer. The game was closer than the final score indicates. LA went on a 12-0 run from 3 minutes left in the fourth until 1:30 left in the fourth based solely on Cle doubling Kobe and Kobe passing to a wide open Gasol, Ariza, or Odom. While LA was doubling Lebron during this exact same time, what did he do? SHOOT...


Now, I am just nervous about Kobe's right ring finger. He said on postgame no matter what the doctors tell him and what the xrays say, he can endure the pain and play through it. Two words, determination and desire.:headbang2That is why LA is winning it all in 2009!

YEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH:headbang2.....i'm keeeping my fingers crossed for kobe's finger!! i hope this sparks something in the team to treat all their opponents like the cavs and celtics, they have to get up for every game not just the league leaders..the team played well tonight and i liked the way Ariza defended and stripped james in the 4th he had 10 pts. in like 3 mins.

I think Kobe's finger is fake. No way you can shoot the ball like that with 1 of your fingers is hurting. I forgot which finger did he hurt but how long has it been ? like almost a year, started from the NBA all stars last year.
