I think Kobe's finger is fake. No way you can shoot the ball like that with 1 of your fingers is hurting. I forgot which finger did he hurt but how long has it been ? like almost a year, started from the NBA all stars last year.

Sure it's fake :nilly:

he injured the pinkie last year and now he dislocated the ring finger..

Great game. When Kobe defended Lebron, especially in the 1st and 3rd quarters, he was completely shut down. Kobe was kobe. 12 great assists and a very willing passer. The game was closer than the final score indicates. LA went on a 12-0 run from 3 minutes left in the fourth until 1:30 left in the fourth based solely on Cle doubling Kobe and Kobe passing to a wide open Gasol, Ariza, or Odom. While LA was doubling Lebron during this exact same time, what did he do? SHOOT...

LeBron did actually give the ball up on the doubles, to wide open shooters that couldn't make anything. Eventually, he said screw them, but that didn't get him anywhere. He got shut down, and when he started getting upset and forcefully traveling, they called them.

Faking is not a Kobe thing....it's a LeBron thing lol. Did anyone see when Ariza stole the ball from LeBron, the second time (consecutively), he was a full body away from LeBron, but when LeBron realized Ariza was running away with the ball......he acted like he got hit in the face! He then continued to pretend as he walked back down court. That's just pathetic.

I saw that...:ROFL:as isaid i liked the way ariza played vs. the cavs and he seemed to have james no. when it comes to defense, ariza's got quick feet and long arms...

Ariza WILL be Kobe's "Robin" within the next year or two. He's good, and so athletic. I really like his game. If LA can get a suitable starter for Fisher (have him off the bench), and keep the remaining starters, with Ariza in the lineup, they will be scary.

Yes that was absolutely hilarious! Their was head to head contact though.... Enough contact that Ariza didn't feel it and proceeded to run down the court and slam it home while Lebaby is in the backcourt crying....

Which brings me to Janero pargo, great speed, good shooter and decent defender can help off the doubles to the bigs and kobe by spotting up or slashing..a little undersized though..

I might be in the minority here, but I don't really think Ariza is that good.
I think he is ok, but thats because of who he plays with. I think if too much responsibilty is placed on him, he won't live up.

Ariza is athletic and plays with a lot of energy and thats all the lakers need..they dont need him to be an all star, just play a role.

If he can be a posey type player for the lakers with more athleticism, thats good enough

Yeah but can he shoot? and will he shoot in crunch time if he needs to?

I don't think he should need to with the guys the Lakers have, but I would have said the same thing about BOS, and Miami before them if we're talking Posey.
