I'm watching this now. It's laughable. He beat the reef shark lost to the hammer. On to the great white.
I would say put him in with it and see how fast he can swim! Lol
Bet he would break his own record till the shark catches him! Lol
 
So he lost by 2 seconds to the white. Lol
If he wants a real challenge he needs to race a Mako. Lol
 
They tried to blame the loss on the thickness of his wetsuit.Mark Spitz must be having a blast with this.
 
Didn't they do something similar a few years ago with a runner racing a cheetah?
Seems like I remember that idk.

Please, shark week has not been scientific or even mostly realistic for years. I was not surprised that he did not race a real shark or the hype for ratings that they used. I refused to watch and looks like I was right. Discovery Channel does more harm for sharks than good lately for the sake of the all powerful dollar.
