What amazes me is how Big Ben was allowed to overcome 2 female-abuse related issues. The public has already forgot about them, but yet that same public won't forgive Vick. It's hypocrisy with some deep, underlying issues at the core.

If it was cats.
I'd have the exact same hateful reaction to him. A reaction I refuse to apologies for.

To finish this , look at OJ he kills wife and gets off scott free
Well technically he was found not guilty so according to the law he's clear. He was found not guilty by a racially charged jury functionally identical to the ones that clansmen used to get off for lynchings. OJ is flat broke, he lost pretty much everything. Had Vic lost everything as well and not gotten it back there would be far less anger.

goes to jail and is chased the rest of his life by 'sadism'.
So you would call his actions what if not sadism?

I think it's sad that someone who said they got a second chance is so unwilling to give someone else a second chance.

He was punished for what he did, 'we' should move on and let him move on( this doesn't mean we forget). Sure this guy should never have a dog again or any animal but come on!

he wasnt punished enough,.... he got his second chance, he is out of jail...now hes going back to make millions...he should be flipping burgers at burger king because he is a convicted fellon......most convicted fellons cant find work because of there back round charges .....never mind get reinstated by the nfl...plz .....

Big Ben was allowed to overcome 2 female-abuse related issues.
The first one was a civil suite and no charges were files due to lack of evidence. The second one was also dismissed for lack of evidence. Also given that this was after the Duke lacrosse mess the credibility of the accusation is questionable. The dogs had nothing to gain by being used as evidence against Vic. The two women stood to gain plenty if Big Ben got nailed.

i don't think you should compare athletes, musicians, actors, etc etc to the average joes.

their skills and talent level allows them to get a second chance that your average joe won't get at their jobs. believe me, if you could make someone big money pumping gas, they'd give you a second chance pumping gas! Even if you did everything tiger woods, big ben, oj and vick did combined!

let's compare apples to apples here and stop comparing apple to oranges. The felony argument when it comes to second chances doesn't fit in. i guess your real beef is with athletes in general, not micheal vick

If a man is charged once, it could be that he's innocent and the so-called victim is actually a liar. If it happens twice, the chances are that the suspect might just be guilty. If Big Ben was actually innocent on both accounts, we can still assume that he's got problems with over indulging of women and alcohol. Something happened . . .
Ben has issues with women. He also has poor judgement.

Not punished enough?..Come on.He was sentenced per the guidelines of the court so apparently it was enough for the legal system that is in place.People seem to be stuck on the fact the he did his little time and was able to re establish himself once set free, the man is talented and it's not his fault that other convicts have a much harder time when they are released.Sounds like there is resentment or jealousy over the fact he is back in the big bucks.Initially I felt almost the same way but I've changed my view.If he had harmed or killed a human being and made a mockery of the justice system then I would have felt more strongly about him.

exactly, people who are upset about that are upset about something bigger then the micheal vick story.

Oh no doubt about that. The fact that he's fubar between the ears is pretty self evident. Celebrities are magnets for the crazy too so he would likely be exposed to more crazy liers than most of us.
