The only gift's i got where pretty naff i'd be seriously impressed with a guy that bought me fish .

LOL i know what you mean! fish IS the ONLY way to go :D either that or a tank perhaps?! actually i wouldn't mind a python lol its taking me ages to do waterchanges, all i have is a bucket and siphoning equip. :(

It's great to see somebody keeping Micropeltes. They are a challenging fish to keep properly.

By Python I am assuming you are talking about the Syphon. If so I can recomend it. It is a great tool for the large tank and has saved me lots of time and mess. It was very popular with her indoors. As much as I tried to be tidy I always spilt water.

hmmm im not sure about syphon...i know i saw this hose...had something at both ends..you can attach one end to the tap and the other goes into the thank then you basically turn the tap (the one in the tank) and it pulls up the water from your tank straight into the sink??!! i saw it in some lfs and it was called a python. then the other end of the hose attached to the tap will put the water back in the tank. i could use one of those, im not that tall :irked: and im sort of small :irked: so i keep on having to lug buckets back and forth...not good lol
