Midas and Bichir

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
it is possible but give the birchir some time to put on some size so it wont be out competed for food by the midas. Alot of members on here keep similar mixes of large south and central american cichlids with birchirs

midas grow faster so get the bichir first and grow him out more and yes you can keep bichirs with cichlids

Yeah the midas is 6 inches and the Delhezi would be about 9 or 10 inches.

how big does the bichir have to be if the midas is 13 inches? i want to find a tank mate for my buddy lol.

Ime bichirs are ignored by even the most aggressive cichlids and should work however the bichir should be of a greater or equal size upon introduction
