I think he looks better than his mom he already outgrew her and has a better profile.

I aquired a Midas I was hoping its a male but I don't think it is since its probably 6+ inches w no hump. It changes colors between almost white to dark reddish orange all the time and gets various black patches in different spots that come and go. Very personable fish and loves attention and to EAT!!!

His father is my avatar pic. He doesn't look good when breeding becuase he doesn't eat and loses his hump but when he's by himself he's gorgeous

That guy is going to be a beast. I dig the coloration he has, the black spots will eventually go away. I was told (don't know that it's fact) that Midas and Red Devils get those black spots while growing... as a indication they're about to go through a growth spurt.
