Midas is comming out of his shell :)

I aquired a Midas I was hoping its a male but I don't think it is since its probably 6+ inches w no hump. It changes colors between almost white to dark reddish orange all the time and gets various black patches in different spots that come and go. Very personable fish and loves attention and to EAT!!!

That guy is going to be a beast. I dig the coloration he has, the black spots will eventually go away. I was told (don't know that it's fact) that Midas and Red Devils get those black spots while growing... as a indication they're about to go through a growth spurt.
