Amazing pics and really nice specimens! Festae are my fav but my money would be on the midas as they are generally more agressive.
haha..., I never would have put 2 & 2 together on that name.midtae;4245445; said:that midas is awesome that festae is a monster too my two favorite fish i know alot of people don't understand my name midtae but one half is midas other half festae i came up with midtae anyway my two favorite fish love them.
Always a possibility in a large enough tank. Personally , I wouldn't mix an rd or midas with others in anything less than a 6' x 2'. Personality/aggression really is on a fish by fish basis.Tillie Fish;4245524; said:wow ! very nice - do ya think i could put a smaller midas in with my 8 inch dempsey ? he's in a tank of africans right now ... ? I want to sell the africans and just have one or two large specimen fish again..
The black background is easy to get when you use an overhead flash. The tank being 4' from front to back helps a little too.Experiment397;4245529; said:ok how do you get the black background in the pix? i am putting money on the midas he has that mad look in his eyes...
I have to agree with you fishluvr. Hopefully they keep it as a bluff game only though.fishluvr12;4245600; said:Amazing pics and really nice specimens! Festae are my fav but my money would be on the midas as they are generally more agressive.
