Midas Vs Oscar - help wanted !

Do you mean for a "wet pet" kept by itself in a single tank? Or a community tank?

kinda both , i know the midas is best solo but if you could only have one which one would you choose

For a solo fish in a tank I would go for a Midas personally. Oscars have good personality too, more puppy dog like than "I want to break this glass and bite your hand off." Depends on individual fish of course, personalities can vary wildly, but the most aggressive fish I've ever seen in my life was a midevil someone brought in to a LFS.
