Heres mine at 15" now, I keep him solo in a 110 and he wont tolerate anything at all. Hes killed a dozen cichlids or so now over his lifetime and is a true glass banger. He is still growing slowly and ive seen some even larger then him. He got to 12" in the first 14 months and is still growing. Be ready for something chasing you constantly and splashing water out of the tank at you. Best of luck, and id you need to upgrade the tank in two years.View attachment 925098

Honestly just hikari gold and he stays alone, it was smaller when he was paired. He killed the female and I put him solo, it does fluctuate. Keeping them on their own they defend the entire tank. As a pair First day solo Side view today
