As much as i love this hobby i am seriously thinking about quitting. Id hate to quit but i know i will not have time anymore. :(. Like i said i am just "thinking"! I dont know yet :(

is not having time the main reason? why not scale back and just keep one tank or something like that?

Working at the fire station and school takes up alot of my time. I was thinking about scaling down and just keep my 300g.

ha! and there i was feeling sorry for you! i cud never dream of having a 300 galoon :(

Scaling down is a good option to burnout, but dont leave, we all know you will eventually return...

Only time in my entire life that I didn't have a tank, I was living in the Florida Keys and went swimming with tropicals. Otherwise, my parents(back when I still lived with them) and/or I had fish. I am an eternal fish geek. Scale back, don't quit, you'll regret it.

Edit: By the way, I'll be 50 in October.
