You can do it, keep the hobby it will just motivate you more. Are you reserve or volunteering?

:iagree: Definitely helps when you downscale. I went from 7 tanks to 2-3 tanks (depending on the growouts). I feel a lot better just having a few tanks than a bunch.

Volunteer but i still work the same shifts as firefighters with a pay
 
Noooo! Don't quit!

But if you do quit or downsize, definatly keep all of your tanks and equipment so that when you want to get back into fish you don't have to buy a sh*tload of new stuff.

awww nooOOOoOOo! don't quit! have you ever tried to go without fish? i went without fish a few years ago when i had a wipeout and i only lasted about a week lol. was too much for me to handle

i went with out fish for a year and couldnt really stand it lol.

I went without a tank for five years, but I was swimming with tropicals. And I helped a friend stock his 210, so I didn't really go without.:D

Lol...I wouldnt do it if i were you! If you do i am going to come an confiscate all your tanks in your class room. :) Fire hazard ;)
