Three words-

Automatic. Water. Changer.

x2

Without the drip I'd go insane.
You think you have no time now? Try looking back to when your kid(s) were born ... having a little one myself, this puts a whole new spin on "no time". Seriously, my 220 gal would be crated up without the drip. But with the drip it's a relaxation factor!

About 4 years ago when I was getting ready to move from Chicago to Louisville I decided I was quitting the hobby and sold all my fish, tanks, filters and decor. I figured it would be easier to move and didn't see myself wanting to deal with the hassle of taking care of fish again. I regretted getting rid of everything within a few months of moving. within a year I'd gotten back into the hobby slowly. Then I was kicking myself for selling everything so cheaply. Although I feel I got good deals on the stuff I've gotten now I still have spent far more to get 2 tanks up and running and a 3rd still in storage than I got for the 5 tanks I sold.

I left the hobby about 2 years ago (but I still haunt the MFK website from time to time). I left the hobby due to my job. When I am at work, I don't regret the decision to get out but when I am home I do really miss it. I allowed my son to take over my tanks and he is doing the oscar thing. I really can't see getting back into the hobby anytime soon as I am gone from home 6 - 9 months out of the year, but I really like my job and don't see quiting anytime in the future. Good luck with your decision, I hope all works out.
