The missus broke up with me last week after 6 years and a daughter of two. She will get to stay in the house and have our daughter. I'm now looking for somewhere to live and on my wages the best I can hope for is a houseshare so there isn't much chance of me being allowed to move a huge tank in and do weekly tank maintenance etc.

Pretty gutted about this, my Oscars have just reached about 10 inches in about 9 months and my Jag looks really dark now. :swear:
 
That really sucks.. You could bring it here and I'll look after it all?:)

Sometimes it pays to stick your tail between your legs, throw your pride out the window, and suck up to the woman which ever way she wants. Six years and a two year old isn't worth giving up on. Best of luck to you.

Sorry for your loss,

Just be thankful that you are in England and not Nazi-Maryland, USA. Not only would you lose the house & daughter, but they would take your paycheck, the clothes off your back and wire your testes for remote voodoo doll shocking by your ex!:WHOA:
 
Sorry, if you do take a break the hobby will always be there when you return....
 
Do what you need to do to get everything in order. Your life should come before the fish. Perhaps you could find someone you know to take care of them until you are ready to set the tank back up.
