It's late and I'm just getting home from a night on the town. I didn't do anywhere near what I expected today in terms of the tank, but progress was made. First of all, the tank is actually here! FX5 won't be here until Wednesday, so I'm going to wait until then to add water. I still need to get some placement issues resolved, get everything level, and I'll be set. I snapped these pics a few minutes ago...

Yes. The room is in dire need of a remodel. The deer mounts are beginning to bug me. It's just a mess in general, but the tank fills the space nicely.

the deer mount can be a good car hood ornament?

I think after this, I'm going to do a small 50g cube planted tank in the corner.

Needless to say, I've made little progress since I last posted. I'm waiting for this damned filter to get here already! If all goes according to plan, there will be water in the tank Wednesday night and filter running Thurs afternoon with fish going in Friday. Rays should be in sometime late next week!

BTW, I'm looking for a powerhead. Anyone have one they can spare or care to recommend a brand?

When in reality it was about 15min with the garden house (which I routed through the adjacent window)!

The plans for tomorrow are as follow: Get filter, setup filter, fill up the last inch or two of the tank, get the water treated, load up the media, throw the pbass in the tank, and profit! Tomorrow will be a busy day.
