and Yes Rottbo, we will continue to be importing fish, running the HIP, and I still am working on setting up the fish room in my basement :) I just can't be the 'spokesperson' I guess you could say..

and I will never leave MFK! :grinno:

I talked to a Petsmart manager that was a pretty hard core fish guy. He is constantly pissed at "corporate" because they dictate what he can and cannot order. Not to mention that their systems are computer controlled for one set of fairly neutral water parameters.

It would take massive managerial changes at the corporate level to ever get "Dats" or Rays" at a Petsmart. Anything beyond "bread and butter" just is not gonna happen IMO.

things can change over time, there was also a time when salt water was not sold at pet stores and was considered very rare and exotic...:)

True...and SW is still not sold at Petsmart...Which is crazy...SW "FO" is as easy as fresh now...I do not see Petsmart doing anything to help the hobby at all. That's why I wished Miles good luck...I hope he is succesful in making improvements wherever he's going. It's gonna be an uphill battle at any of the chain stores.
 
If there will be any changes made at corporate level Miles is the one to do it.
