Min tank size for Arrowana

mmmmm ok. its alot clearer now 300g at least. Bderick67 i have thought about growing a small aro. my tank is a 150g 6'L 27''T 18''W. unfortunately my tank is only 18'' wide. I'm thinking about growing a small one now beacuse i have 2 oscars and the biggest one is 9'', if he gets to his full size, which he will by the end of the year pretty much, then it wont be a good idea to get a small aro THEN, dont you think? one of my LFS sells small silvers 4-6'' for $50. I'm thinking it would be ok to grow a small one now that my oscars aint at full size...correct me if i'm wrong. What do you think? How much time would i get b4 he out grows my 150g? Cus if i have to get a bigger aro once my oscars are full size, then that might be difficult, i'm sure bigger aros are pricey and hard to find here where i live. I know its a commitment once i start to grow it, I will have to get at least a 300g, and i will let me know what u guys think.

i also have 2 jacks 4-5'' in with the oscars. Im running two fx5.
