One clear scientific law that I would bring to try to show people that there is an eternity is KINETICS.

Honestly look at the energy of the human being and knowing that kinetics dictates that energy never dissipates but simply transfers, the ? is where does the energy that is you go?
...

The energy that is you is converted into energy to sustain other organisms, such as bacteria and plants. When you kill a cow for dinner, its energy is transferred to you when you eat him (rather simple explanation but expand it for yourself, let the theory guide you)

NOW get this, and bear with me for a minute:

Everyone knows what gravity is, and I'm sure that if I said the term 'escape velocity' everyone could intuitively understand what that means. The Escape Velocity is the velocity required by an object to break the gravitational boundary of a larger object. Such as: a rocket ship leaving the Earth's gravitational pull. Reasonably, you would need to launch a rocket ship, or throw a rock straight up, at 7 miles/second for it to just break the gravitational barrier of the Earth and remain in space without it falling back.
When the escape velocity approaches the speed of light, you get something called a black hole.

A black hole is a singularity - a point in space that has such an incredible density that the gravitational force it exerts is so great that even light cannot escape it when lightwaves pass within the Schwarzschild Radius. A Schwarzschild Radius is an inherent trait to any mass, such that if any mass could fit inside it's Schwarzschild Radius, no known force or pressure could stop it from collapsing into a singularity, like the black hole - meaning that even light flying past at 3.8 x 10^8 m/s will be sucked in never to be seen again. Earth has a Schwarzschild Radius of 9 mm.

Now here is the cool part. The SR takes into account the mass of the gravitating object in the numerator, meaning that the larger the mass of the object, the great the SR. Current astrophysics has been able to approximate the distance of the furthest galaxies, and an average number of all the stars in any galaxy, as well as all the galaxies in the universe. If you take the average mass of a star, the average number of stars per galaxy, and the number of galaxies in the universe, you get the mass of the gravitating object. If you plug that into the equation to find the SR, you will find the SR of OUR OWN UNIVERSE is akin to that of BLACK HOLE. Our universe has a natural speed limit - nothing can travel faster than the speed of light in a vacuum, no where and at no time can anything at all go faster than that. Therefore it is impossible for anything to leave our universe. Wouldn't that be the ultimate way to keep fish in a fishbowl?

Up to now, my interpretation of comments made in this thread have been of a philosophical nature rather than religion - interesting subject.

It's like that cartoon featuring a pig who's looking through the farm fence, wondering if the world extends beyond his view...

this is gonna get locked because a few couldnt keep religion out of a good discussion. well done for spoiling it!!

:ROFL::ROFL: origional poster has no issue with it

and this is what im after the thoughts of other people thanks for your thoughts for if i understand that is what this thread is about peoples thoughts:headbang2
