You can find pics in the following link. What about the lid for your tank? Specs?

Man, your is nice and long enough to have some silver in it. so sweet.
what do you use for filtration? I see you have a little water fall going on there.
should def. add a cover, you don't want the aro to jump out. you can make it in few sections. that would help you with water evap. and temp. drop due to such large surface area. just make sure you have enough cross-sectional supports...I didn't :(
I also have strips on the side to keep the cover stay in place.

how much did you pay for yours? you ordered from DAS? the only thing I didn't like is that the stand isn't tall enough but nothing some cinderblock wouldn't fix.

Is that an acrylic top you built? Lets see some pics of the top. I built one for mine but I rarely even use it now as I built it from wood and screen and it is too much of a hassle to remove as I often hand feed my rays. So now I just use egg crate fixtures.

the top is acrylic, dont' have any pic of it but I attached the drawing I made. there are two pieces and connected with hinges. I could have more openings but as acrylic itself is a fairly soft material I would need to use additional metal frame for better support. Unless I go with much thicker material which means more expensive.
made a mistake in the current design with the reinforce acrylic strips used. they are not strong enough so the cover bow a little towards the center. I should've used more than just two..well too late now.

I do have a cover. Here is the post where I described them. You responded to it! LOL. whenever I wanted the pond look, I would remove the tops, take it all in, and maybe snap a few shots. I don't have the aro anymore. The tank is filled with rays:naughty::naughty::naughty:.

Oh and I bought mine off of a fellow MFKer for $500. DAS does not sell to home buyers...just businesses. I know this because I attempted to purchase the filter for my tank as it did not come with one. I have two internal pumps with filters (one of them a pond filter), I'm running and FX5 through a waterfall spillway filter and I have an additional two FX5s running on it. I'll take more shots sometime in the near future as it is an entirely different set up now.

500 is good deal, too bad they don't sell to home buyers. but I'm sure you can ask a good lfs to order it for you as long as you pay upfront so they don't stuck with the bill.

what the dimension of yours and what kind of filter you use with it?

Really very nice tank setup! What are you going to stock it with?

still deciding, either a shoal of pygo (caribes or pirayas) or just put my 4" rhom in it with lots of feeders (not gold fish) and see how big I can grow him to. only if I had more large tanks, that's just too unfortunate for me..:irked:

The answer to your question re: filters is in the post you just responded to:nilly::ROFL: You must be reading very fast.

Here are the dimensions...Can anybody calculate the exact gallons? Math is not my strong suit:grinno:

Yea I was reading very fast, a little too fast. :grinno:
if the tank is the same height as mine, which is 21" then it should be ~300g, +/-10~20gallon or so. pretty big tank man.
wish mine was that big. When do you plan to sell it :naughty:

So it is a 320. Thats what it was sold as...I just wasn't sure because DAS's tank like this one on their site was like 380 or so, so I was a little confused. This one must've been custom. Not selling it anytime soon though;)

could be 280g also, remember I said 300g +/-20g or so ;)
but larger volume does sound much better lol.
It could be a custom size one too, one way to find out is to empty the tank and fill it up with 10g bucket, see how many buckets it takes to fill it up all the way. :D

I need to bookmark their website just in case I win lottery.:headbang2
