agree on salvini, when the question is CA and aggressive, but small, the answer is IMO salvini, although even convicts can be aggressive, but not at the same level generally

Neetroplus nematopus are very aggressive and mean.

Hemichromis elongatus or better known as the five star general. This fish gets up to 6 inches and it will kill eveything you put in the tank with it. Nasty little fish.

They are african but can thrive in the same parameters as SA/CA. These fish are as mean as you get!

Kribensis can be pretty nasty when spawning...... If you'r looking for somthing really small.

I am interested and probably quite a few people that want to know. What monsters are there that are 7" or smaller. Sa & ca that have a bad attitude. What do you guys have? Please provide pictures.

P.s. I do know that there is a forum for this but she didn't want cichlids and I want ca and sa cichlids only.

cutteri are mean little buggers, Herichthys Tamasopoensis are nasty too for their size and Grammodes( how big do these guys get?) i think about 7 inches of sheer terror.

grammodes can get up to a foot though it takes them a long time to get there
