  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I have some barrels outside.
I have comet fry, platy, swordtail, white clouds, and whatever fish i dont want in my tanks inside.
i've kept gouramies too.

Yeah, thats pretty cool. The lowest temperature reached in winter is 13 or 12 degrees C :)
most of the fish survive.
event fish like neon tetra survive. I just add some salt to prevent an outbreak of ich.
i think i have some videos on youtube...
wait a bit, i'll post them.

This barrel has some comet and little koi. I've specially made it for the production of green water.
For now, i use the other barrels to condition the comet for breeding. I breed them in aquaria :naughty:

That's some juvenile koi in my cement pond. Its an old pond(older than me lol) and i don't use any kind of filtration. only some salvinia on the top.

I got those koi at the size of about 1 cm.
Just guess what you'll read next...
I traded guppies for them from a koi breeder!!!!! :headbang2:headbang2:ROFL::ROFL::naughty::hitting::lol2:
That's my best fish deal til now!!! The guy has always been breeding koi, and wanted new fish. I was damned lucky that day. These are my first koi.

You are welcome Acheloos. You should be cautious about fish that jump. They won't have much room in a "miniature pond" and they may jump for any reason.

The Koi I've kept in temp. Rubbermaids (74 and 100 gals.) have always jumped. A little bird netting kept them in.
