  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Well maybe if I can find a cheep tank, but I still don't see my rescue mission happening right now

Not sure of your situation but if you have room in a basement, stock tanks/plastic bins work great and can be relatively inexpensive.

I am in an apartment building, I have allot of room in my bed room, luckily the room mates were cool with me setting up my 75 gallon in the living room, could potentially fit a 200 gallon, don't know how the floor would hold up, I really dont have the space for a pond, nor that kind of cash due to school right now for the tank, however I will be patrolling Craiges list and Kijiji, hopefully something will show up!d

smaller map turtles would be alright in a 75 gallon if you look into them.

The point never was that i really wanted a turtle, plus no I won't do the whole fish and turtle thing again.

I want to save at least one of these turtles just need to find the tank, around here as I assume everywhere, RES are sold as small cute turtles, people buy 10 gallons then try to get rid of them or let them die because they are now big turtles not cute and no longer fit on their coffee table

Agreed, not trying to undercut responsible keeping...but lets be honest most RES end up dying early or in generally bad conditions. So what if one is a little cramped in a 75? Give it an elevated basking spot so the tank can be filled up more and a good diet...you will have a happy turtle.

Like I said my tank already has fish in it, and I am not doing fish and turtle mix anymore, did it once turtle was fine, fish not so much
I will have to get a whole new set up for the new RES,
I'll keep you guys updated, still trying to find a new set up

yea im saying 100-120 gallons..
