What do you guys think of a 7'x30"x30"
I'd want to see at least an 8x3 footprint before I call it ideal, but that size would be MUCH better than what most of them end up in. That size is really quite borderline.
Got my eyes on one of these for the army in the future, http://www.aquaticeco.com/subcategories/2080/Fiberglass-Tanks-With-Window. Thinking when I move in with my gf I can just do a decent size Rubbermaid tank for a year, and when I'm in a bigger place with her get the fiber glass tank.

I like those tanks as well. I'm considering one of their 3/4 round ginormous tanks for my really big tank way down the road. For the prices they offer and the headaches it would save, their products are VERY tempting.
Oh, and take it from a married man: if mama ain't happy, ain't nobody happy. Give her everything she wants and then when it comes time to get what you want, she will say yes.![]()
, I feel yah on that one bro. I was actually thinking that having that extra foot of with I could do some badass Pothos filtration. maybe make it a uniquarium and section off a portion for a built in sump with a submersible pump to return the water with some media and lots of pothos.if mama ain't happy, ain't nobody happy.
Sounds like improper planning if this is what it's come to....
I've learned it's best that if MFKing is in your blood to sit "mama" down and explain to her how things work - "The fish were here before you, and will be here after you, if this is a problem we are both wasting our time"
Easier to build a solid foundation then to try to repair one.....![]()
