Do you think three hang on the back filters and a fluval 305 could handle a 150g, with a ray.

why wouldnt they....

Somebody said I would need ample filtration for if I got a ray and I would need a canister or sump. I was just wondering if three regular hang on the back of the tank filters plus one fluval 305 canister filter would be ample.

sounds pretty good for a while.

i run 4 emperor 400s and an fx5 on a 150 with a few good sized rays w no problems.

look in the DIY section there are many DIY sump/overflow combos taht are very cost effective and have AMPLE bio media to suit your application.

Just keep in mind when it comes to filteration and rays the more the merrier.
I would read the stickies theres alot of other things you need to know before picking up a ray, heater guards, foods, type of substrate go have a read them, should sort you out prity well

rays are great! I suggest getting 3-4 pups. + a baby shark (ones that look like a shark!), a red tail catfish maybe a gar a datnoid a black ghost (knifer)! go crazy!

I think they need to take red tail cats off the market. There are probably only a 1000 people in the US that have the ability to keep those monsters. Most people don't plan for the cute little 3 inch cat to get 3 feet in length with a head that is a foot wide:eek:

please tell me your just tolling .. this is one of the dumbest things i have ever seen on here

Gar, RTC, ANY SINGLE RAY, and some dats are all to large for that tank for life .. let alone many of each ...
