Minimum tank size and dimensions for 2 teacup stingrays?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
8 by 4 minimum just to keep them happy. They need a wider footprint .
That's crazy. A 450 for a ray that probably won't hit 14"?

What is the minimum tank size/dimensions for 2 teacup stingrays? Also, what can they be put with? Thx!
If you're talking about retics don't buy them. Save yourself the agony of losing the fish and get a hardier Ray such as a marble or super spot mortoro. Then put them in an 8x4

Ok, thx! Oh, and can you maybe keep a marble in a 250 with Angels, Bala Sharks, Rainbow sharks, Clown Loaches, Pictus Cats, and Columbian Sharks? Or will it eat them? Thx!

Ray- get a mini marble instead of a full size.

Tank- what sizefootprint?

Tankmates
Angels- you can try mixing them but chances are the Rays will top them and use them as chew toys.
Bala Sharks-good idea.
Rainbow sharks-are risky. Some people have luck and some have horror stories.
Clown Loaches- need big ones to suceccfuly mix.
Pictus- i don't know about.
Columbian shark- should be kept in brackish.

Thx for the info! Also, I'm only keeping the Columbians for a bit, until they're almost fully matured. Then, I will give them to my local FS.
