Minimum tank size for JD & GT

I would say 75 gallon if they are both males.
 
You know what I have to take back my statement and agree with party on that. For some reason it slipped my mind that some g/t males are punks and will beat the snot out of anything.

they'd need atleast a 75g. both species can be aggressive so a 5ft 100g would prolly be best for the 2, toss in some FM or cons and silver dollars and call it a day
 
ive heard that those two fish can be more aggressive towards eachother because they look similar, just what ive heard tho.
 
I have heard that too. Personally wouldent mix the two. But if its already done best to just hope for the best and monitor behaviour. And get a big tank.
 
Thanks for all the advice every one, really apreciate it, i think i'll just get two tanks and house them seperatly, seeing as i love Jack Dempseys and Green Terrors so much, i wouldn't want them to hurt eachother. Can you recommend any good tank mates for both of them?
