4 x 2 is too small, although many people keep Asians in tanks that size.

the only thing you can say if they are in a tank that size, is they are normally kept by themself.

a 6x2x2ft is perfect for a asian green they stay smaller than other asian aros but a 6 x 30inch wide would be better for life

Are greens really smaller than other Asians? I actually thought they were one of the biggest. I've seen photos of mammoth greens caught wild, and very big greens in captivity.

they all get huge

I wouldn't say huge Del. I've never seen an Asian above 2 foot. They probably get a shade bigger than jardinis, most jardinis seem to top out around 20". Big but not huge. Silvers are huge :D

del i completely agree wit u....the more the merrier, as they all say

thats actually PERFECT!!! :cool-1:

nothing less

definitely not no less. ive been keeping mine in just a 4x2x2 and hes doing great....and so do others in asia who regularly join aro competitions. they have higher standards than most of us can hope for in asian aro keeping. if you have a minimum size tank, then be religious in your water changing. and filtartion set-up
