I see tanks of them in fish shops all the time with their backs bitten out as well as other injuries so I know if they can do that to each other then they can really massacre any dentitionally unmatched fish.

Thats why I included monster fish keepers in on this. It was literally a fleshly hole. he couldnt eat anything and had no lower jaw. just a hole that could not close. I thought it was really amazing as to how much it grew back, to look like it does now. I really thought he was gonna die.
He will die if you don't rehome the piranhas unless you want the piranhas eat all of your tankmates. You don't think that the piranhas won't attack again after the first incident with the jag?

I can't keep p's here but still like to research how to care for them....n wat I kno from top of my head is that they will kill everything in your tank you might not see any aggression but when lights are off the creeps come out ....your fish is a sitting duck if they got him ones its matter of time before they kill him n then your o

Mattybecks, as the others have said, you need to get rid of the piranhas or all of the other fish. Keep it as it is now and it will not end well.
If you really care for your fish you will do the right thing. OK????

Keeping piranhas with other fish in a tank is borderline cruel. In the end the piranhas will slowly kill and destroy everyone else. Its usually one day you forget to feed then someone disappears, or if a fish gets sick they will take advantage. It may workout short term, but never in the long run, be prepared for more missing fins, and inevitable fish loss.

This is so true. My dad kept 6 rbp in a 125 and one of them was much larger than the others. He was always dominant, but my dad moved them to a larger tank and didn't have it fully cycled. The larger rbp got fin rot and was acting sickly. His brothers made a quick lunch of him on day 4 or 5. If anyone gets sick, they're toast. Your tank is an accident waiting to happen lol. I know ditching half of your fish is no fun, but a decision has got to be made.
