GREAT shots! Canon is WAY ahead of the curve for shooting w/o flash!

Thanks. One thing I have noticed is Cannons ability to shoot at a higher ISO without getting the grainy look. It really helps when not using any flash especially in a tank this deep.

Thanks Trikky.

How'd you go about raising these beasts together?
My juvie Jag (4") killed my bocourti which was bigger by at least 2". Then I added a black belt which was twice the size of the jag but had to remove that befor it was killed too.
Asking because I'm in the process of putting together a similar mix of fish, but having a few troubles in the process.
Any advise appreciated.
As always your fish are looking great, I do miss that Big bad Jag though, haha

Damn greenterra you got photo skills I wish I had. I love your fish too. Everything looks great bro!

I had most of them growing for quite some time in a 180g knowing they would be transfered to the 800g in time. I have removed the small dovii and a Blackbelt from the community as both were just nuts. Even with 800g, they constantly chased other fish but the rest have always and continue to cohab quite well. I actually find them better with size. When younger, they seem to have a Bitc%y attitude that seems to settle with age and size. In the end though, it is all relevant to tank size and free swimming space.
Stock at present is..
1 x jag
1 x festae
1 x trimac
1 x pearsei
1 x bocourti
1 x gold saum
2 x midas/rds
1 x carpintis
1 x umbee(still only small)

This was them at the end of july in the 180g( they wouldn't work in it now at their current size)Notice the tank isn't really set out so they can all claim a territory, plus no females ever in a com tank would be my best advice.

This is them as of tonight. They have grown considerably in that time. This tank is large enough for them to claim territories but they still don't. I think it is because I have still left it pretty open.

Thanks. Herichthys carpintis:)

great shots, I like the ones of the single specimens, they dont look like the fish are stickers on a page as the group shot does, thats just my opinion though, and all the photos are amazing.
