man, i had a brain fart in my last post, i said that barnett was the underdog, i mean kharitonov is the slight underdog

anywho, people think Reem didn't look like himself during that fight. i disagree, he did look like himself in the first round. he started not looking like himself because you and many have not seen him past the first round in a long time. since 06, in 15 fights, he's only gone to second round twice,..... TWICE!!! 13 of them was finished in the first round. AND, he's only went to the 3rd rd 3 times in his entire pro mma career!!! 8 of his fights was finished in the 2nd rd. he's got 46 fights under his belt.

so this is why i am still not a believer, this last fight proved a major, major hole in his game and it's his cardio. he was an absolute beast in the first round, werdum got rag dolled bad. it continued into the second also until they both started showing fatigue. so since we are so used to seeing his fights end so early and him looking great, we are shocked when it goes to 2-3 rds when he looks gassed and vulnerable at times

btw, i predict Bigfoot vs Barnett in the final.
 
It's true with his mma career. I still think he can beat Silva. I think he will be more aggressive than he was with Werdum in the first.
 
see, that's what makes me nervous for him. if he doesn't improve his cardio, he's gonna come out aggressive, and if he doesn't finish silva, he will gas. and i think that's when silva will go for the kill. he's a more dangerous striker than werdum.

i like both guys, but i'm a bigger overeem fan, i want him to take this whole tourney actually. my heart says reem, but my logic says he won't be able to handle any of the other guys left in the tourney. if it was k1, reem got it, but mma, maybe not so much
 
Yea if reem cant put silva away firts 1st 2nd round silva could proly stop him i dnt think he has a heart like a nick diaz being that bid really how good can your cardio be

silva looked good in his last fight proly alot cuz his size but he his a good fighter thats getting better
 
dang, nate the great got cut from the ufc. he didn't get medical clearance but something went down and no one is talking. there's a whole lotta speculation and rumors but nothing official yet as to what really happened.

people have been caught using peds and drugs but none have been let go for those reasons alone, so i wonder what it is that pissed off dana white. i'm thinking something was in his system (ped, drug, std, whatever) and he tried to cover it up or lie about it. but only time will tell when the story will come out

^ it was nuts. i felt bad for barry, i wanted him to win. but props to kongo, that was brutal. one of the greatest come backs ever

this is why i respect cain's chin so much. he ate those punches from kongo and didn't go to sleep, AND he ate them while kongo was not hurt
 
+1. That's exactly why I can't pick between Cain-JDS. JDS took acouple shots from Carwin and it looked like they did nothing. I think that fight may get fight of the year. A 5 round blood bath!
 
for me, the difference in this fight will be the wrestling

i think if cain can take him down and control him with the wrestling, it's gonna be his fight either by decision or tko

and if junior can stuff the take downs and keep the fight standing, it's gonna be his fight, decision or tko
