Lol I've known of CHAEL in person for 5 years + I'm not a huge fan in fact I was like holy shoot when I found out about the first CHAEL/Silva fight I thought he's going to get broke down FAST but it didn't go down like that lol NOW he's got the " REMATCH" of a lifetime for himself and I think he might just have a chance @ it ... personally I like Silva and have for awhile but CHAEL needs this more than ever especially after all the hype he's made about being the best + when or if he does win it , it will boost ticket sales @ our local gig I'm sure of it and to me that's a lil job security for my family and I ..

Fight records don't always mean everything. If u know anything about dana and the ufc, they care more about u going out there and giving it your best. Win or lose, fight your heart out and you'll keep your job
Anderson did that in one fight. The maia fight. When a guy stops several people with crazy stuff u only see in movies, and has a bad fight in there somewhere, he gets a pass from me.
U have no tolerance for what u claim he does but what about your tolerance for talking crap out of line? Its one thing to talk crap about the guy you're fighting but I'm talking about taking shots at an opponent's wife and nation. And i won't even mention having the t/e ratio of 16:1 and money laundering issues
Cmon man, at least if u guys just admit to being a hater i can take that. But bashing Anderson and rooting for/defending a theif and a cheat?

I don't think it was underestimated so much. I think it surprised him about how strong chael was
But more so i believe it was more of chael having the t/e ratio of a rhinoceros
Wow you knew Chael? I trained with him and I still consider him a friend to this day.....He is a good guy just think he is trying to hype the fight is all.
@sumoninja, not trolling just giving my opinion LOL....If people would ignore Chael's humor and insults in his interview and actually try to listen to the point he makes you would probably agree with most of what he says. And to the post about records not being important, that its fighting hard that counts, really? I mean in what other sport does someone lose more than half the time and still stays employed?
Bringing up other sports is irrelevant to my statement. The ufc is obviously not like other sports. Name one guy who always comes to fight and put on a great show who's on a losing streak that has gotten let go. Wand still fighting in the ufc is obvious proof as well as many others on a losing streak. I really don't need to defend my statement

But seriously, if one of the 2 are phony its not Anderson. Chaels a smart guy, he sells fights with his mouth, heck he got the title shot with it. But he doesn't mean half the crap he spews, that's what's phony. Knowing you'd fail the test and not taking precautions to let the athletic commission know is why i can't root for him. Trash talking brazil as a nation and bringing Anderson's wife into it, i don't care if you're hyping, you don't cross that line. That's why i can't respect him.
And i truly believe he was using trt to gain a fight advantage. That's just my speculation and opinion. He was a nobody and not the beast he is today just a few years ago and he suddenly popped into the scene outta and started demolishing guys. He was never that strong and dominant.

I can't understand why anyone especially with the wrestling credentials Rashad brought into that fight, Why would you go toe to toe with Jones. That Macdonald kid in the 135s is putting anvils in his gloves I swear haha. Rothwell made more in 1 minute than I'm gonna for the next 3 months......not hating just impressed
