I had to record it and it got cut off so I missed the last two rounds. Bummed about varner and Davis but loved the swick fight.

Anyways, just saw the shogun vera fight. The whole night had great fights. I don't know how they pick fotn. Ther was several awesome fights. I haven't even looked up to see who won fotn and sotn nor who faces the winner of jones/henderson next. I'm kinda regretting not going to see this live. Jamie varner impressed me a lot. Dude took fight on short notice and put on a helava fight. Awesome sweep by Joe and secured the triangle in the scramble. Excellent ground game.
So happy machida won. Great ko, one of the best counter strikers in the game. Bader never threatened lyoto, lyoto kept the fight where he wanted, bader always lunges in with the powerful right and got countered by a fast straight right. Good night
I was happy Vera performed really well, I felt he put up a great fight, hurt shogun several times, but the more experienced guy proved why he's one of the best. But shogun just isn't the same anymore. He gases real bad.
My conclusion, these guys won't beat Jones. Outta the four guys, machida deserves it and has the best chance.

6 pro fights, 6 first rd arm bars. She had 3 amateur fights, all first rd arm bars too. That's pretty unbelievable
They know it's coming, but they can't do anything about it. Then she calls out cyborg. But it's kinda dumb, she moved down to avoid cyborg and calls her out to come down when she knows cyborg won't make the cut to 135. She really needs to polish her striking though. It's been working for her to get into the clinch where her judo comes into play but she will one day meet someone with good striking and can't take the fight to the ground. But since the talent pool is so shallow she may be champ for a while
And damn, mad props to Tate. Damn that girl's got heart and a pretty solid chin. Gets her face bashed and keeps her composure and finds the arm.

She SHOULD have avoided Cyborg. She is still too young in her career and untested standing up, really, but who else is there for her to fight? Felice Herrig would be a good striker to put her up against, but she's way too small and she'd probably just take her down with ease anyway. I didn't see the Tate fight, but saw the effects of it. She showed tons of heart in her fight with Rousey, too although probably some stupidity not tapping earlier.
K-1 just signed a deal with Spike TV. This is great news! For those who don't know, K-1 is the top kickboxing organization. If you like non stop action, it's the most entertaining sport....
