Yep....I like it. Not only did he embarrass himself again by showboating he was embarassed by his opponent for the first time by getting put to sleep doing it. This might take over my number one favorite Anderson Silva fight from the fight with Ryo Chonan

man, I watched best of pride on fuel last night and it showed Anderson vs carlos newton and also saw his fight with chris leben again recently. dude, the ferocity and intensity in his eyes and his attacks,....... you don't see that anymore from Anderson. he never waited to counter. he was the aggressor and pushed for action

Yup. 100% haters. Could you imagine if he had clowned Weidman for 4.5 rounds then with like 2 minutes left he put on his game face and KO'd him. We would never hear the end of it. Honestly as a diehard Silva fan, he got what he deserved. The second you don't take a fighter (or yourself) serious you pay the price. My only question is if the do the rematch in December like they are talking about and Silva destroys Weidman where are all the bandwagoners (new wordage) gonna go? Or if Gus beats bones (lol, big if) and Hendricks steamrolls GSP ( still unlikely) then what? Who is P4P king then?
at this point I don't care if Anderson wins or loses. to me his legacy is already set. he's got some records that's gonna be hard to beat and he's made his money and left us enough highlight reels.
I've said in the past, he's lost a step, even before he fought chris Weidman. and he's gonna be 39 soon. I don't even wanna see him fight top level guys anymore. if not super fights, then I just wanna see him in fun fights. other than that, i'd be fine if he retires and enjoy the fruits of his labors
