I was under the impression that he had some kind of falling out with the company since he seemed to have disappeared from their shows after pretty much being a mainstay for so long....Lately it seems that Mario Yamasaki and Herb Dean do most of the reffing in UFC.

I've never heard of a falling out, but either way, ufc can hate him but they still can't stop him from reffing their events.
Dana HATES Steve mazzagati but mazzagati is always reffing ufc fights.
Big john actually retired at one point. I think he commentated and had other ventures but came back to ref
Big John's short retirement was a fallout with kizer. he likes the state athletic commission but don't wanna have anything to do with kizer anymore

Kizer supported the lady judge that scored the mayweather/canelo fight a draw 114-114 which is utter crap. Canelo won maybe two rounds at best

sorry to hear your friend got ambarred. I was hoping to see it but the fight was a prelim that didn't get aired
I was disappointing it wasn't aired either, but I literally just finished watching it a few minutes ago on youtube. It was a pretty good fight overall but still a disappointing loss.

managed so far to only find out the results of the main event. I searched for something else and the result came up, unfortunately, but glad it went that way. 166 hasn't posted on icefilms yet, unfortunately, but hopefully today sometime.
