Hendo is fighting Franklin again. He beat him not too long ago. I thought the scuttle
was a Hendo and A. Silva rematch?

I think they wanted Hendo to get a fight sooner, so they matched him up with Franklin.
Silva has to fight Forrest, then after a break, he is already signed up I think to fight the winner of Marquardt/Maia.

Here is an update on some rumored fights for upcoming UFC events:
UFC 105 - (England)
Wandy Silva vs. Bisping
Dan Hardy vs. TBA
Ross Pearson vs. TBA
James Wilks vs. TBA
The above are all Euro fighters (-Wandy of course) in case people didn't know and Ross and James are the latest TUF winners.

UFC 107 - (Memphis)
Rampage vs. Rashad
Frank Mir vs. Cheick Kongo

Anyone hear anything more on this Fedor/UFC possible announcement?

Belfort Signs with UFC, Will Fight Franklin

Former UFC light heavyweight champion Vitor Belfort will return to the Octagon Sept. 19 at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, where he will fight former middleweight champ Rich Franklin.

UFC President Dana White announced the UFC 103 bout Friday during a media conference call. To make the matchup, he nixed a previously announced rematch between Franklin and Dan Henderson.

“The fans didn’t like (Henderson-Franklin), so we’re going to change it,” White said.

Belfort-Franklin will take place at 205 pounds. As for Henderson, White said he is “definitely next in line” for Anderson Silva’s middleweight title. The UFC president said Demian Maia and Nate Marquardt, who meet Aug. 29 at UFC 102, are in the mix.

Here's a question. Dana says that the fans didn't like Hendo/Franklin so he's changing it. While I am way more excited about Belfort being in there, what are the odds that the average UFC fan has even seen Belfort fight? And, id Hendo was the one that people weren't happy about (considering he got bumped), why then is he "definetly next in line" to fight Anderson Silva? Is that going be so much more attention grabbing?
I get that Silva can carry his own card so maybe thats what their thought is.
Side note: Silva is going to have quite a string of fights coming up. He has Griffin first, then it sounds like Hendo again who he did beat, but I don't think anybody really looks forward to fighting Hendo, and then I think Marquardt will beat Maia and he'll get another shot. Griffin, Hendo, Marquardt, in a row is really going to test where Silva is at right now.
