I do too. However, I don't think he would win the second time either.

hamato_yoshii;3553680; said:I'm not sure. I have kind of painted myself into the corner in the sense that I have repeatedly said that I think Silva is ripe to be beaten, and I still think a big, strong guy like Hendo (more like Nate) can beat Silva. I think that Hendo may be a little past his prime now, and might not be able to pull it off, but I think that Nate can for sure.
svang55;3553905; said:Nate has improved since they last fought, he's faster, stronger and his cardio is better. But I think he's the type of fighter that isn't well composed. When he gets hurt he'll crumble. Like in the first fight, he was doing good and had good take downs and controlled from the top but as soon as Anderson got on top and ate some punches he had nothing. I give him a slightly better chance because of his improved speed and stand up, but that's about it, he'll break if he loses the stand up fight. And unfortunately for him, he's gonna be standing up with one of the top 2-3 stand up fighters p4p
Dan has a better chance in a rematch because he's good at planning and learning from the first fight. Plus he's very well composed even when hurt, and is always a dangerous fighter no matter who he fights. But I think age is a factor. I feel like he's only 80 or 90% of the strong fighter he used to be. His best chance is to take it to the ground and controll Anderson for a decision win. The problem he faces is when it's on the feet and if he ends up on the bottom when it goes to the ground.
for both fighters to rematch Anderson, I say Anderson takes it again
hamato_yoshii;3553914; said:Good post. I disagree a little with the Nate thing as he has proved in the past, and he has an extensive resume, that he can take shots, and still keep going. I think he will be the one who will be able to stop Anderson, and it is because of the strategizing that his camp does with their fighters, and how successful they are.
I agree about Hendo, and I think that he can still take Silva down and try to out muscle him, but I'm just not sure he has enough left in the tank to get it done. I think he would still have a great chance, but not quite as sure as I once was.
All this is under the assumption though, that Hendo will get past Nate, who I think he will fight first, and I don't think that he will be able to do that. Nate is a tough match-up for Hendo at this stage of his career, and I think Nate will win that fight.

I hope not I like Belfort. I don't think he'll win but I hope it goes into deep water.hamato_yoshii;3554275; said:I think Belfort will be completely outclassed when he steps in with Anderson. As soon as he finds out he won't win in the first minute, Belfort will start to crumble.
