I was so disappointed in the Machida vs Rua fight Rua won clearly they need to get judges that can see or at least watch the fight.

I would love to see the Carwin/Velasquez fight, but it is probably too fast of a turnaround for Cain.

That's why I think it should be Dos Santos (or maybe even big Nog), because I think Dos Santos would beat Carwin anyway.

Screw UFC, gambling and fighting don't mix!! SHOGAN GOT SCREWED, tired of ufc and dana white bull****! wish pride was still around and dream is getting better quality fighters, all the fighter should go back and fight in Japan!!

Dude, I seriously think you should educate yourself before flaming the UFC and Dana. It's not Dana and the UFC that scored the fight and gave the fight to Machida. They have no influence what so ever on who or how the fights are judged.

They have no decision over who is the referee or who the judges are. It's the athletic commission that decides that. Dana and the UFC has no say in who it is or how the judges scored that fight or any other fight. For your information, Dana, the staff and the majority of fighters thought that Rua won.

But using the 10 point must system to score, I can see the argument that Machida won rounds 1-3. They were close and could've went either way. Rounds 4-5 was clearly Shogun's. This is why some considers the 10 point must system flawed. In a 3 round fight, fighter A can win the first 2 rounds by barely doing a little bit more even though neither of them got hurt or was never in any danger of getting stopped. But fighter A already has 2 rounds in the bag. Then in 3rd round, fighter B comes in and clearly beats up fighter A with punches, knock down, take downs, octagon control, cuts up fighter A but didn't stop him. Then you go to the decision, well, fighter A is more beat up, but he gets the decision although fighter B clearly won the fight based on who is more damaged and beat up. But fighter A walks away with the win.

I gave Shogun the win over all but can see how Machida got the decision.

In pride and a lot of orgs over seas, they use a different scoring system. They score the fight not round by round but by overall damage and attempts to finish the fight are highly considered in scoring. They also give yellow cards to fighters who are not engaging enough and not trying to fight to finish. I wish they would do that here in the U.S.

I wish they would do that here too, it makes more sense. On another note does anyone here see Brett Rogers getting the glory punch on Fedor for the win? I think Fedor will win 2nd round submission, 1 of my friends is sayin Rogers with the hail mary in the 1st.

I got Fedor via sub in round 1, or tko.

Brett, along with a lot of big punchers always has a punchers chance against fedor, or any fighter for that matter. It just takes 1 big punch. The real challenge is to land it against someone like Fedor who doesn't choose to ONLY stand or ONLY go for take downs. He goes for whatever is open. He'll trades standing and if the opportunity presents itself he will use his Judo and take it to the ground. He'll then ground and pound and if a sub opens up, he will take it.

true. I think it may go past 1 round. I still think Fedor will take the win.
