Carwin and Roy are in the UFC

and no, Carwin never been busted for illegal substance that I know of. at least not in the UFC. what happened was some doctor claims he used to give out steroids to certain athletes and the dr ended up having a list which Shane Carwin was one of the names on that list,..... i dont' know all the details of the whole thing but it was something like that

I always felt Carwin was untested. He's definitely got heavy hands but I always wanted to see him fight better competition before I agree that he's a true contender. beating Mir and Gonzaga are good wins but not great wins in my book. I feel Mir is overrated. I feel Carwin was over hyped and I think Roy has the footwork, boxing and cardio advantage over Carwin.

I think if Carwin doesn't land an early ko, Roy will knock him out
 
Roy has won me over a little, but all I ever said about him was that he did not have a chance at being the best.

Having said that, I also felt carwin was untested, and in that fight he'll have the edge in power, but really nothing else.
 
just bought my tickets to UFC 121!!!! WOOHOOOOO!!!! :headbang2:headbang2

will be there live. this is only my second time attending live. last time was Pride 33 at the Thomas and Mack Center in vegas. that card was stacked!

this one is also stacked and it's just a short drive away

Okay...I figured that Carwin was cut from UFC and for some reason I got Nelson's name confused with a Strikeforce fighter.....Did anyone catch the UFC Primetime hype show that came on after TUF? It was nicely done and it had a HBO 24/7 feel to it as it featured Lesnar and Velasqez preparing for their match.

that seems to be what a lot of people, including fighters say,...... more people use PEDs than we think. there's no way of fixing the problem unless you start randomly doing blood testing and all that during fight camps.
