UFC and WEC will merge Jan 2011. That means UFC will take on 135 and 145 weight classes.

makes sense now, I recently read about Jose Aldo being asked to fight Kenny Florian and Aldo's camp declined. They want Aldo to defend his title 1 or 2 more times. It was weird they would ask him since he's still under contract with WEC. I guess this explains it.

but Varner, Cowboy, Ben Henderson added to the lw div is sweet!

4 events on Verses in 2011, Jose Aldo may fight in January. Rumored to be Mark Hominick but Dana said that was just a rumor.

UGH! She got robbed. IDK why the heck she decided to not take her down and finish the fight. Frosto has gotten so lucky w/ decisions it's crazy.
 
I haven't seen the fight but I read about it. the majority of people think she clearly won with a few people here and there saying she lost

I heard the other chic got a bs decision win to make it to the finals though. People were saying worse case is that Megumi won 2 rounds for sure, but one judge scored it 4 rds to 1 for the other chic

I also don't get why she chose to stand up

I'm very disappointed, but it's a fight and you can't leave it to the judges

i agree with everything you said there. If she would have taken it to the ground, it would have been over in a minute or two on the mat, most likely. I thought she looked really good standing up and was pressing the action and controlling the cage almost the entire fight. She did look like she got rocked a couple times, though. I just hate game plans that involve trying to win by decision. I don't understand it, especially with Barnett as her coach and how much of an advantage she had on the ground. Overall, I'd say that the worst judging I've seen has come from Bellator, in the US, anyway.

I thought that first fight, Berhard(sp.) vs. Tsoncivic (sp) was brutal. Not only did I think Tson won, I didn't think it was close.

but it's cool, he has a spinal or vertibrae issue. doesn't sound too serious right now but he'll have to get it taken care of and come back Mar-May ish

also Gerald Harris got cut. can't believe it, wonder what happened. dude was 3-0 in the UFC, all 3 by tko and 2 of them was ko of the night

then he lost at UFC 123 and got cut. Elliot Marshall also went 3-1 and got cut.

something else must've happened for them to get cut.
