I agree with everything your saying, but in regards to a good ref theory...I think the ufc specifically didnt want to let anything get to vicious due to cbs and future broadcast oppurtunities and gave instruction to the ref to not let the fight go if there was a chance to stop it....if i remember correctly (i could be wrong) the next main event was shogun and hendo that fight was epic and i feel like it would not have played out that way on cbs a stoppage woulda been called. I really cant wait to see hendo fight again he is a savage, of his last couple of ufc fight he had me jumping around my livingroom, esp when he smashed bisbing know thats a knockout i cant complain about. But i do agree with what your saying about the position the ref s are in. Ohhh it would be nice to see a throw back to the old days of mayhem every know and then before mma evolved into the fine tuned machine it is today,

On the subject of preformance enducing drugs ( this fraise makes me think of "Ivan Drago Rocky 4" ) I really hate that these professionals have to dirty mma with this controversyal bs. So many high end fighters sinking so low. This is the apitamy of a competition sport and these fighters dont deserve a place in it. I esp dislike cyborg the heshe, im really interested to see how s/he looks unjuiced not that it could ever be certain considering they get away with it all the time, id like to see rhonda rousy break her arm, I know I sound like a real a**hole but think ofmall the dedicated women that have lost there shots without a fair chance
Silva may be cocky but I think he has earned it and he will be looking to make an example out of chael, who really didnt look that great in his last fight hmmm maybe he isnt as good without those p.e.d. 's
