UFC needs to get more new young fighters. These older guys are just in it for a paycheck and just dance around trying to eek out a decision without getting hurt- BORING
If its the last round and you know your down on points and you don't go out swinging- THAT SHOULD BE AN INSTANT BAN FROM UFC! I see it all the time and it's a shame.
We need more guys like Clay Guida who put it all on the line every fight every round. Why do you think so many people love Guida and cheer for him when he fights?

I dont agree that older guys are boring fighters and are just in it for the paycheck. Hendersons last fight wasnt his best but his fight agains shogun and his fight agains bisping were pretty good in my book. Yeah some older guys like coleman probably should have retired before they did but I dont penalize all older guys for that
 
It's true with guys like Rampage, but Wandy definitely shows up to fight.
I used to like Guida, but his fight with Maynard was painfully boring. He seems to be fighting a little safer lately.
 
I'm going to hang onto having the older guys around for as long as possible because I enjoy watching the old guard and once they're done, it's not going to be the same. If I hadn't been watching since UFC 1 (albeit off and on sometimes), I would probably feel different. And actually I think a lot of the newer fighters fight more safely.
 
Randy Couture is a rare breed and he at least gave his all but most of the older guys, and I don't mean just by age, I mean by fights, will run half throttle. Look at all the undercard fights. They are the most exciting, why? Because they are trying to get into the UFC. I would say most that have been around awhile are just looking to get by and get a paycheck.

cmon man, there are tons of boring young fighters. and a lot of older exciting fighters. randy couture is one of the guys that was gifted so many undeserving title shots. now he's with team bellator. good for him. clay guida has been really really boring lately. never been a fan. him vs maynard was horrendous. he better string some wins or I won't be surprised if he gets cut. he's 1-2 in his last 3. and the win pissed a lot of people off because they thought hioki should've won.


anyways, overeem is injured, pulled out of the junior fight. lucky for him. Mark Hunt has made it clear he wants to step in against jr

and Weidman finally gets the match he wants. Weidman vs Anderson at ufc 162.
