I honestly think that AOs best chance is to take him down and pound him out. He threw around Big Foot on the mat and has very good top control.
I agree with Sumo that AO has bad striking defense. Nelson has proved many times that he can put a big man down with one shot. Overeem can do the same which is what makes this fight so good.

I agree with all of that and I'm not the biggest Overeem fan but I don't care for Nelson that much more...if that makes any sense.

take downs is one way to win for sure. just don't end up on the bottom. and remember it was throwing big foot around that gassed him too. if takedowns is his strategy, he needs to make sure he can do it for 3 rounds. if he can't continue it to the end, it will be his demise once he's tired late in the fight
