I think we should watch what is said from here.....If he is found to be in the wrong, it will be handled....Just not by us. Nothing in the rules say the kid can not start a new thread and just re name it. I also thought the 20 cans were a bad idea and wasteful, but it did not make me hate the kid.

I like the guys setup. something different. kinda sucks we arnt gonna get more pics now. I did think that WyldFya came off a little wrong/harsh for a mod and that may need to be addressed.

If you read the thread it's about someone not liking advice.. which is fine but not everyone is gonna say "Awesome!!" and leave it at that.. if they did it would leave a bad impression for some poor noob who reads that thread 2 days from now or 2 years from now and thinks they need 20 eheim canisters. I think we all in the goodness of our heart try to inform someone of a better way to do something if we know how.
All I am trying to say....Is that it is his call on how he runs his tanks. I saw a TON of aggression on that thread. It was pleasant at first and then I felt like the kid needed help to get the wolves off of him....And side note he did say "maybe this should be closed..." Not "please close this" The only reason I care, is because I was interested to see how it all panned out. The bom bom bom......

You have to take the good with the bad. When i post pictures of my tank and fish I could care less about the negative comments. My day will still continue and I will still continue to keep what I want. If you can't take the criticisms than don't post?
Was his tank bad ares - Yes
Was the filtration bad arse - Yes
Would I do that to my tank - No
Do I think it's a waste - Yes
and so on and so on......People say my Ulitima II Sand Filter is a bit much? Do I care...HECK NO, it's my tank and I'm going to filter it to my specification.....LOL
When I posted pictures of Centrals with Africans people posted on how that doesn't look right. That's their opinion and it's cool. They have every right to speak their mind. Don't get all butt hurt because some opinion was said about the set up. It's your tank, it's your filtration do what you want.
Plain and simple...
