i buy them buy the 1000 put them in a ten gal with a compresed ball of moss a peice of egg carton and some tubes but the best way i think is using flukers orange cubes and other stuff they devour that *****

Yeah I use those cubes,other veggies and the crix food that looks like dirt and saw dust.If I use the dirt stuff then I also use the calcium fortified water cubes.I just use a critter keeper with paper towel tubes.,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,something funny,if I am camping,surf trips,hotels,somebodies floor,I can sleep through anything almost,not snoring so well,I hate that.However,if the crix get wings and Im at home in my nice relaxing bedroom with just the air cleaner humming,it never fails that one or 2 crix are hiding too good in my geckos tank and after about 30 minutes of them chirping,it bothers me so dang bad that I will get out of bed no matter what time,and hunt it down in the cage and personally hand feed it to my gecko.When will they make chirpless crix?

so we made a nest box today and i just checked on her and shes in it so i turned out the lights and ran away, HOPING FOR THE BEST i think this is it

That would be great. I once had a tub of 1000 crickets get spilled once. They were chirping all over the house for weeks. They probably aren't as easily manipulated as fruit flies or something since they do have the "wingless" version of those, although depending on where you get them, the "wingless" ones somehow manage to fly pretty damn well
I mainly feed mealworms and their beetles now though as they're easier to breed and don't grow up to an annoying stage like crickets do. I'd also like to get a roach colony started at some point as well and never have to buy feeders again

idk,every time I get into deep thought,one chirps and it feels like my flesh has been removed and Im being tattooed right on the bone.Im telling too much I thinkyeah I hate em.lol

I ordered some "wingless" ones online to try raising some house geckos I hatched out a few years ago. I opened the container they came in and half of the "wingless" fruit flies immediately flew away...
