It’s 120”L 36”W 30”T exterior 118x34x28 internal = 487US gal
I have 2 x 40gal sumps for a total system water volume around 515gal
I have 2 x 40gal sumps for a total system water volume around 515gal
Yessir, and tbh, the overflows keep the water height at about 27”, so it’s actually closer to 470gal + sump volumeI see that you're using the internal dimensions for the display tank... there's no argument here that they're the more precise measurement.
Males growing from 5" to 10-11" in a year is actually pretty impressive I think mate. Having good protein rich foods, lots of room to move around & great water parameters are prob why you have seen such good growth on the males especially. I would be totally stoked to achieve anywhere near those outcomes!Mine grow slow as well
Mine grow slow as well, at least the ones I believe must be females are light eaters/slow growers. Of my thirty gibbs, I've had twenty-four for 1 year and the other six have been in the tank for 4 months. All were 3"-5" when they arrived.
- The largest four (males?) are 10"-11"
- While the smallest five (females?) are 4"-4.5"
- The rest are somewhere in between

Cheers RD!!Beauties, good luck with them.
Thx Ken! The fryeri & borleyi will be removed this week. I have them sold and had plans to close the deal on Sunday but I had to go in to work early. There’s 3 african syno cats; multipunctatus, Lucipinnis & a crocodile island which will stay during the grow out phase to clean up any food that builds up around the hardscape. Once the Moba are getting towards breeding size, I’ll remove those little eggs stealing rats!Really nice. Do you plan to have any other tank mates in there with them?
