MOMO EGGS!!! now what??

i bought 5 pbass a year or so ago and the dominant male killed off three of them - never showed aggressiveness toward the only one left - i figured they were a pair and i come to see eggs all over a piece of driftwood i have in the 125g i have them in. they are in there with an arowana and silver dollar.

what do i do now?

i just had africans breed for the first time in my other tank - and put them in a breeders net where all the fry are now swimming - this is obviously a much different case - can anyone with expereince help?

i guess the process takes a while as the female has been laying more eggs for the last half hour as i have been watching -- it is unbelievable how many eggs there are

ps - i am technologically retarded and dont know how to post pics nor have a camera handy
 
Take the eggs after they are fertilized, set up a 10g with tank water the eggs came from, a sponge filter and heater, add some anti fungal meds, and just wait. Although probably following Tongue33's advice would be better.

without actually seeing the male fertilize them, how would i know after he has -- it looks as though the female laid all of her eggs... i havent seen her lay anymore in a few hours, the two bass have been hovering around the nest the last hour or so
 
Congrats on the eggs.. do a search on Tongues and JuanTamads threads, their really helpfull..

You can see the semen when it is ejaculated from the male. If you want them to stay with the parents, then I suggest adding some sort of anti-fungal medicine to the tank.
